Welcome to the blog of Philip Stringfellow and the official blog of ps.design.
From now on in, you’ll find a steady stream of design orientated kerfuffle, lists that may or may not have been seen before, and a few tutorials written and designed by me! Also, as and when I find my feet in the blogging world, I’ll be inviting others to author posts, from designers to bloggers.
One thing you won’t find, at least for the near future is giveaways/competitions and that’s for one simple reason – I can’t afford it! But rest assured that when I can, I will be launching some cool comps and cool freebies, including one or two things you may have seen on sale by me over at ThemeForest, GraphicRiver or BuyStockDesign.
For now, you’ll have to just make do with this -
- an awesome abstract wallpaper pack, designed by me. Inside you’ll find wallpapers in standard, widescreen, HD and iPhone size. Just hit the download button to download the ZIP file, and you can have a new funky abstract piece as your desktop/iPhone background. The only condition is that if you want to share this pack, you’ll have to link to this blog, and post it on any blogs or websites. If you wish to do so, please contact through the Contact Me page found in the sidebar. The link for this post is:

Another thing too, is that although I’ll be spending a lot of time designing this blog and promoting it, it may not actually be updated very often. This is because I believe in the old mantra “Quality over quantity” and don’t want to publish irrelevant posts. The posts I will be publishing will be carefully crafted posts, with it clear that a lot of thought has gone into it and that it will benefit the reader in some beneficial way. Anything that isn’t worth posting in here will probably be tweeted on my Twitter, which is visible up on the top-right-hand side of the page.
As well as thought going into my posts, another thing I’ll not be doing is creating posts just to link others blogs. I just don’t see the point in making a blog/post just to advertise another’s posts – I can do that in Twitter.
So for now, I’m signing off so don’t forget to download the wallpaper pack below and come back for great designs, tutorials and giveaways courtesy of ps.design.
