“Everything that has a beginning has an end.” A great quote from a great film, and a great way of ending my Boulevard series of designs. As hinted at in the original PSD version of Boulevard, my plan was to have a HTML template giveaway and hopefully work on a WordPress version to either distribute for free or on a premium template site. With the HTML template giveaway in full swing and over 1500 downloads combined for all things Boulevard across DesignMoo and here, I really wanted to keep the momentum going with a WordPress version of the theme, but looking at turning the HTML template into a fully working WP template was going to take a while in between dirty nappies and planning a wedding. So instead, I hatched a cunning plan!

After mentioning them in the PSD freebie, CodeMyConcept were always on my mind as a way to convert the site so I cheekily asked if they could code up the template under one condition – that when sold, every penny of the money raised from selling the theme went to a charity of their choosing.

Thankfully, they said yes so today, I welcome on board CodeMyConcept as the developers of the Boulevard WordPress theme!

This is basically the first time CodeMyConcept have done something so cool and amazing. We are all extremely excited and we hope this is not the last time we can do something to help others. We really want this venture to be a huge success!

Another great bit of news is that along with CMC on board for coding duties, I also welcome SFF Hosting and Brendan Mutton on board who has very kindly offered to supply the hosting and domain name needed so that we can sell and distribute the theme independently away from theme marketplaces. This will hopefully give SFF the recognition they deserve for being great hosts, with super service and really cheap hosting packages. I should know, all my websites are hosted by them!
